Why the Name “The Intern Coach”?

Becoming a life coach has been a lifelong aspiration of mine, even though I have thoroughly enjoyed my career as an architect and entrepreneur, designing, styling, and running some of the most beautiful boutique hotels around the world. I chose the name “The Intern Coach” after being deeply inspired by the movie The Intern with Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway. The film is fun and light-hearted, yet it contains many joyful truths.

While I am not in my 70s like De Niro’s character, I find many parallels between his journey and mine. After a career dedicated to creating beautiful interiors, homes, and boutique hotels, I am now embarking on a new adventure. Restarting at this point in my life is an exciting venture, and I love approaching it with the mindset of an “intern.”

In a profession like life coaching, continuous learning and personal growth are essential. My diverse experiences provide me with a strong foundation for this new role I’ve always dreamed about. These experiences enable me to ask powerful questions and offer valuable suggestions to my clients as we work together to build new lives.

Above all, I aim to approach this new career with a spirit of learning, giving, and generosity, much like De Niro’s character in The Intern. I am dedicated to serving others and helping them grow, always from the perspective of an intern.
