I’ve always seen Greece as the cradle of our civilization. My fascination began in middle school with Latin studies, enjoying Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey. Despite the challenges of getting things done in Greece, the light, the scents, the waters, and the people hold a special place in my heart.
Greece, the mother of our civilization
Raising two daughters in New York City, our annual vacation to Greece became the highlight of our year since they were very young. I vividly remember enduring scorching temperatures over 110°F on a playground in Crete with my three-year-old. Despite the heat, those joyful memories remain vivid and cherished.
After marrying Eva in Antiparos in 2019, Greece became even more significant to me. Following two decades in New York City, I decided last year to spend part of my time on the island of Paros. There, I realized a small dream of mine: the Salt House Antiparos.
